Orange Blossom Ball Contradance, a zesty, urban style dance weekend features friendly, excellent, lively, extraordinary, enthusiastic calling, plus spectacular musicians. Half of the dance sessions will feature "dual callers" with a male/female voice alternating to enhance the dancer's experience. We have daily no-walk-through dance medleys, several waltz sessions, an east coast swing session, yoga, waltz and musician workshops. Gender balanced, we hope to expand to a 4-day dance weekend in the future. Also, your Orange Blossom Ball participation helps our outreach to our host venue: We teach 600 plus Freedom Middle School students to contradance in 4 day-long sessions during December and January. These students are invited to our Saturday afternoon dance. Having received excellent dancer reviews from our first OBB dance weekend (2013), we expect OBB 2014 to continue that tradition.
